Former YBNL artist, Lyta reveals the current state of his relationship with former boss, Olamide.
The Monalisa crooner who was with YBNL in the early stages of his career, Lyta reveals in a recent interview that he listened to bad advice and that ruined things for him in YBNL, leading him to leave the label.
He says, as an upcoming artist he ought not to have listened to the negative advice he was given by friends when he first got his big break under Olamide, with his smash hit Time.
He says, listening to the wrong people cost him his deal with Olamide, who, as Lyta puts it, was only helping him as they weren’t bounded by a contract.
Speaking about their current relationship, Lyta reveals that he and Olamide are cool. Although they don’t speak on the phone, according to him, he texted Olamide on his birthday this year and he replied.
Lyta, however, explains that he doesn’t blame himself for the situation that happened and the bad decision he made, because upcoming artists are supposed to experience such so they can learn.
