Nigerians have taken to social media to react to Wizkid’s loss in two categories at the 2022 Grammys.

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and performer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, lost in two categories at the 64th Grammy Awards.

 

The event, which was held today, Sunday, April 3, 2022, in Las Vegas, saw Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab, beat Wizkid and others in the Best Global Music Performance category, while multiple Grammy-award winning Beninese singer, songwriter, and performer Angelique Kidjo won the Best World Music Album category.

As expected, several Nigerians who are music lovers have taken to their social media platforms to express how they feel about the loss.
