Wizkid may have lost in his category at the 64th Grammys, but some outstanding Nigerians have earned themselves a Grammy Award following Angelique Kidjo’s success at the Grammys for “Best Global Music Album ‘Mother Nature’

Angelique Kidjo has now won her 4th Grammy Award after being nominated 12 times.

Tonight she won the award for “Best Global Music Album with her latest work ‘Mother Nature’ – This album features 4 Nigerians, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr. Eazi, and producer Rexxie.

 

Following the success of the album, the above-named artists are now certified Grammy Award winners for their participation in the album.

Accepting the Grammy awards for Best Global Music Album Angelique Kidjo gave a shout out to Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi, alongside other featured acts on the album,
