OMPHCI, Our Mother of Perpetual Help Charity Initiative, has opened an office in Makurdi.

The office commissioning and fundraising ceremony, which marks the beginning of the official activities and programmes on Friday, also informed the openness and fundraising to equip the computer institute that will train the poor and needy in ICT.

A statement signed by the Secretary on Media and Publicity, Kundam Felix Aôndosue indicates that OMPHCI as an organisation has two years in Africa, America, and Europe and is friendly with clergymen and other compatible volunteers.

In 2020, they have extended their initiative by feeding 100 families during the pandemic of COVID-19 at Kanshio, Makurdi, Benue State. A poor widow was also sheltered in the same place.

Other benefits include food and clothing every December to mark the celebration of the conception of “Our Mother of Perpetual Help.”

Speaking at the occasion, the founder of OMPHCI, CEO Caritas Finace Tokens, Dr. Akighir Batholomew remarked on the need to embrace the foundation and apply support to curb poverty, ignorance, and other ills of humanity.

“Our Mother of Perpetual Help Charity Initiative is built on faith and preaches the word of God through charity; that is, evangelism by charity by helping those who are sick, homeless, or those at the internally displaced persons camps, or IDPs. We are open to helping the needy. “

“We are also not doing charity for applause, as the case may be, where the social media platforms will carry our outreaches.” We want to bring in a computer institute that will train and certify the poor and the needy in ICT to become productive for themselves and for the society in which they belong, so one must not necessarily depend on the government alone to survive,” Dr. Akighir said.

The grand chancellor of Univ International in Africa, Rev. Proff Elias Gbishe, remarks about the need to welcome the organisation and pledge effective support as “a piller”.

OMPHCI, as a contemporary initiative driven by technology, to receive aid and grants from international cooperations like UNESCO, UN, and UNICEF, signed a partnership deal with domestic and international companies and institutes like Univ International in Africa, Biggy Tera Records, Caritas Travel and Tour, Caritas Finace Token DeFi-Company, and Interveave Solutions. This is an approach to meet the stability to offer services in consultancy, mentoring, entertainment, cryptocurrency, and entrepreneurship.
